Bethany Lutheran Preschool
Meet Daisy, Bethany Lutheran Preschool’s class pet! Daisy is a floppy-eared bunny which the students raised money to purchase by doing chores at home. During the preschool class day, Daisy has “hopping around” time outside of her habitat, and the children take turns caring for her.
The purpose of Bethany Lutheran Preschool is to provide a well-rounded and nurturing pre-kindergarten experience for three and four year olds in a Christian environment. We support the home by providing a program of learning activities that will contribute to the child’s mental, physical and spiritual development and further his/her social and emotional growth.
A non-profit learning center licensed by the Department of Human Services, Bethany Lutheran Preschool is open from September through May for children ages three and four. Three-year-olds attend morning sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. Four-year-olds attend morning classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Objectives
- To help the child live confidently as a beautiful creation of God by encouraging him/her to develop a positive self-awareness.
- To provide appropriate experiences to promote exploration, creativity, communication, and concept development.
- To develop large and small muscle coordination, sensory perception and good health and safety habits.
- To involve the child in a sharing and caring environment in which relationships with others are strengthened through interaction and through practice of self-control.
What
Bethany Lutheran Preschool is a non-profit school licensed by the Department of Human Services. A program is provided for children 3 and 4 by September 15 of the year enrolled.
Where
The school is located on the lower level of the education wing of Bethany Lutheran Church.
When
Three-year-olds attend Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Four-year-olds attend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Starting in October an optional longer day program will be available for both age groups. Three-year-olds will have the choice of the traditional preschool day ending at 11:30, or they may bring their lunch and participate in the "Lunch Bunch" until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Four-year-olds will have the choice of traditional preschool ending at 11:30 or bringing their lunch and joining "Lunch and Learn," staying until 2:00 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday.*
Who
Bethany Lutheran Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
Registration Fees
A $50.00 for 3's and a $60.00 for 4's non-refundable fee is required at the time of registration.
Tuition (September—May)

A monthly tuition fee of $100.00 (M-W-F) and $80.00 (T-Th) is due on the 5th of each month.
Please pay by check or cash in the exact amount. Make checks payable to Bethany Lutheran Preschool. - Tuition payments may be mailed to us or deposited in the payment box located in the Preschool room.
- A late payment charge of $10.00 will be added to any tuition not paid by the 10th of the month. If you have extenuating financial circumstances, please contact one of the staff to arrange an alternate payment plan.
- A fee of $20.00 will be assessed for any check returned due to insufficient funds.
- No tuition is refunded or credited for vacations or illness.

*Extended day programs are offered on a month-by-month basis. The cost of the Tuesday-Thursday program for three-year-olds is $40 per month ($5.00 per day), and the cost of the Monday-Wednesday program for four-year-olds is $60 per month ($7.50 per day).
