About MMO (Mom's Morning Out)

Mom’s Morning Out (MMO) is a Christian, state-licensed program for children ages 10 months to 4 years. Our mission is designed with a two-fold purpose. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment where children can learn about God’s world through play, song, crafts, and group activities. We also believe that by giving a parent a period of time on which to depend for free time that they will become stronger in their responsibilities, strengthening their family and their relationship with God.

MMO offers three classes for children ages 10 months to 4 years. Children will be placed in the Infant, Toddler, or Pre-K room based on age and day specifications. Enrollment is on a first-come-first-serve basis with first requests honored as long as space is available in the class. You will be notified of enrollment by postcard. You will also be notified if your first request cannot be met and if the specific day of the class you choose does not attain a minimum level of students required for the class to be offered. Parents may choose one morning a week in which to enroll their child. The Pre-K and Toddler classes meet Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the Infant class meeting Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Fees

To enroll your child, please complete and return the registration form and submit the $50.00 registration fee (non-refundable).  In the event your child is not placed in the program or we are unable to staff the classroom, you will receive a full refund. Tuition is $40 per month and due the first session of each month.  Because the child’s place in the program is reserved and the program is staffed, payment will be required even though your child might not attend a session.

Forms

The following forms are required by law and must be on file no later than one week after the start of the program in September: A physical examination, signed by a physician, an original signed and dated certificate of immunization card, a parental emergency medical consent form, intake form, and a pick up authorization form. These forms are all in your packet. Please bring them when you come to open house.

A slot will be reserved for your child only when the registration form and fee are received by MMO. You will be contacted if your first preference is not available. We request that you inform the MMO Director, Risé Stuer at 319-366-4897, or email Natalie Polzin at if your plans change or you decide not to participate in the MMO program.

We look forward to working with your child in September. We hope you are looking forward to the

break once a week.  Please call MMO Director, Risé Stuer at 319-366-4897, or email Natalie Polzin at if you have any questions regarding the classes.
